Terms of Service

Welcome to Vet Connect, operated by Hurry Up and Date LLC. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Vet Connect. Vet Connect is built for people who have served in the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that you have served or are currently serving. Misrepresenting military service is grounds for immediate removal. Verification features may ask you to confirm service through a third-party provider or by document review.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information in your profile
• You may not create accounts for others or transfer your account
• You may be asked to verify your email address for account security

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, violent, or sexually explicit
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the service for commercial solicitation or spam
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use automated tools to scrape data or create fake profiles
• Share another person's private information without consent

4. Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, posts, comments, bio). By posting content, you grant Vet Connect a limited license to display it within the app for the purpose of providing the service.

Room owners and moderators, unit room administrators, event hosts, and organization administrators may remove content and members from the spaces they run. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

Peer discussion about benefits, claims, finances, health, or legal matters is shared experience, not professional advice. Confirm anything that matters with the VA, an accredited representative, or a licensed professional.

4a. Events

Events listed on Vet Connect are organized and run by verified organizations and their named hosts, not by Vet Connect. Vet Connect is a directory and signup tool. When you RSVP to or apply for an event:

• The hosting organization’s own terms, waivers, and policies apply. Read them before you go.
• You participate at your own risk. Vet Connect does not vet venues, activities, equipment, or participants, and is not responsible for injury, loss, or conduct at events.
• Hosts may approve or decline applications at their discretion and may remove attendees who violate these Terms or the host’s rules.
• Any cost shown is set and collected by the host outside the app. Vet Connect does not process event payments or refunds.
• Hosts agree to use attendee information only to run the event and to comply with applicable law.

4b. Organizations

Organizations are verified by Vet Connect before they can post announcements or host events. Verification confirms the organization exists and that the administrator represents it; it is not an endorsement. Organization administrators are responsible for everything posted or hosted under their organization’s name.

5. Safety & Reporting

Vet Connect provides tools to block and report users and content who violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Users who repeatedly violate our rules may be permanently banned.

Important: Vet Connect does not conduct background checks on users. Always exercise caution when meeting someone in person for the first time, including at events. Meet in public, tell someone where you’re going, and trust your judgment.

6. Premium Features

Some features (such as creating community rooms or additional Super Likes) require a Premium subscription. Payment terms are disclosed before purchase. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through your app store account.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Vet Connect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vet Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Vet Connect after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where Vet Connect is headquartered.
